The Commercial Pool Building Process...
Phase 1: Scrape, Demo, and Dig
The scrape, demo, and dig phase is the messiest part when it comes to bringing your commercial pool to life. After demo and scrape is complete, our team stakes the pool design out on-site to ensure you love the layout. Then the dig crew gets to work shaping your new pool. This phase of building is one of the most exciting to watch with all the machinery & major changes taking place on the property. While our dig teams make it look effortless, this stage combines expertise and precision, usually taking a couple days to complete.
Phase 2: Plumbing Prep and Steel
The steel phase is where your commercial pool begins to take shape. Skilled crews install a grid of steel rebar that forms the skeleton of the pool, bending it to follow every curve, step, and contour of the design. This framework provides the strength and durability needed for the pool shell. Once complete, plumbers set skimmers, drains, and returns before your project manager will schedule a thorough inspection of the steel by your municipality. Once the inspection is passed, we can move on to shooting the shotcrete!
Phase 3: Concrete Shell Shoot
With steel inspection complete, it is time to bring your pool to life with the concrete shell. Shotcrete is sprayed at high pressure around the rebar, creating a strong, durable structure. Skilled finishers sculpt the shell into the exact design of your pool. Once hardened, this rock-solid base begins curing while the rest of the project moves forward, setting the stage for the pool finish installation in the coming weeks.
Phase 5: Hardscape & Outdoor Living
With plumbing complete, the transformation moves to your hardscape. Our crew prepares a concrete base and installs your chosen pavers or natural stone to create a stunning patio space. This is also when we bring your outdoor living features to life, from kitchens and seating areas to fire pits, steps, and retaining walls. Every detail outlined in your design is carefully built, shaping an inviting space around your swimming pool.
Phase 4: Tile, Coping, and Plumbing
As your pool shell cures, our crew installs the plumbing and begins the artistry of tile and coping. We ensure your pool shell is level, ensuring a flawless installation of the tile & coping. Each tile and coping stone is cut and set by hand for precision. At the same time, plumbing lines, filtration, heating, and any special features are installed, laying the foundation for a pool that is as functional as it is stunning.
Phase 6: Pool Finish And Fill Pool
Your pool shell is prepped, waterproofed, and cleaned before our expert crew hand-trowels your chosen StoneScapes or Pebbletec finish. Step markers, mosaics, and custom details are added for a personal touch. Once complete, the pool is acid washed and filled straight from your garden hose, we will provide you a water credit to present your municipality. Our team then completes a 30-day startup to balance the water and ensure your pool is ready to enjoy.
